She emphasised that the entrepreneurial training received by the participants would not only support their livelihoods but would also contribute to the economic development of the state. The programme was also attended by the Village Head, Aarti Nainwal. The guests appreciated the initiative and stated that such skill- and entrepreneurship-based training programmes play a significant role in the socio-economic upliftment of women and empower them towards self-reliance.
The primary objective of the programme was to link women with self-employment and entrepreneurship, develop their business and livelihood-based skills, create new employment opportunities, and make them economically empowered and self-reliant. During the training, participants were provided practical knowledge on starting small businesses, financial management, market linkages, enterprise operations, and various government schemes.
The Programme Coordinator from EDII, Anita Trivedi, provided guidance to 55 women over the 26 days on diverse entrepreneurial opportunities, skill development, and business operations, motivating them to establish their own enterprises.
