Dehradun, 8 Nov: Under the Primary Education Department, appointment letters were distributed today to 128 primary school teachers from four districts of Uttarakhand. The appointment of these teachers will bring light to the rural and remote primary schools of the state, ensuring the spread of basic education. In line with the state’s commitment to securing a bright future for its children, the government decided to appoint primary teachers on a large scale, a process that is now being fulfilled. With the induction of these teachers, the shortage of staff in schools will be alleviated, making quality education more accessible for children closer to their homes.
This was stated by the state’s Education Minister, Dr Dhan Singh Rawat, at the appointment letter distribution ceremony for basic teachers held at the SCERT auditorium, today. Dr Rawat, who was present as the Chief Guest, emphasised that primary education must be of the highest standard to build a strong foundation for the future of children. He further stated, “Primary education is the first step in preparing successful citizens. If the foundation is strong, the future will undoubtedly be bright.” Dr Rawat highlighted that the state government has taken several historic decisions to strengthen the primary education system, including the large-scale recruitment of teachers.
