Faculty Induction held at Graphic Era

Dehradun, 4 Dec: Graphic Era organised a three-week faculty induction programme, ‘Guru Dakshta’. The experts of the education field threw light on the different dimensions of academics, which include cyber security, digital education, significance of curriculum development and emotional quotient.
Faculties of Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, Bhimtal and Haldwani campuses participated in this induction programme. During this programme, topics like constitutional values and environmental consciousness, research, professional development, educational leadership, personality, and emotional development were discussed by the experts, Dr Vishal Sagar, Dr PA Anand, Dr Jyoti Chabra, Dr Vivek Jaglan, Dr Rahul Raj, Dr Neeraj Dhiman, Dr Vijay Gupta and Dr Mahesh Manchanda.
On the last day of the induction, Guru Dakshta, Major General Dr OP Soni (Retd) addressed the gathering on National Security. Dr Soni informed the gathering about non-traditional security threats. Talking about climate change and environmental pollution, Dr Soni said it was the commitment and responsibility of citizens to take care of the environment.
The experts answered and solved the queries of the faculty in the induction programme. Experts made the difficult topics very interesting and easy, using figures, photographs and presentations.
Vice Chancellor of Graphic Era Hill University Prof Dr Sanjay Jasola said teachers should be like role models and have in-depth knowledge of the subject and should use this new technology for the overall development of the students.
