Football Tournament picks up pace at St George’s College

Mussoorie, 6 Aug: Three matches were played today in the 51^st edition of the ‘St. George’s College Heritage Cup (aka Jackie) Invitational Soccer Tournament’ underway at St George’s College, here.

The first match played today between St George’s College (B) and Doon Valley Public School ended in a draw, 4-4. For St George’s College (B), the goals were scored by Ehsaas in the 18^th minute, Richard in the 35^th minute, Abhiyudh in the 39^th minute and Ateeb in the 75^th minute. For Doon Valley Public School, the goals were scored by Shubham Rawat in the 8^th and 59^th minutes, Bipin Singh in the 13^th minute and Sojal Limbu in the 40^th minute.

In the second match, Wynberg Allen School defeated Woodstock School by 3-1. For Wynberg Allen School, the goals were scored by Khenrab Jordhen in the 10^th minute, Mingur Dorjee in the 32^nd minute and Ayaan Desai in the 53^rd minute. For Woodstock School, the only goal was scored by Nilesh in the 64^th minute.

In the third match, Manorite defeated Rauthan’s Sports Club by 3-0. For Manorite, the goals were scored by Jotish in the 13^th and 23^rd minutes and Rajveer in the 58^th minute.

The referees for today’s matches were Pushkar Gusain, CM Bhatt, Mr. Devashish Kashyap, Anish Chhetri, Milan Chhetri, Abhiruchi Gurung, Rohan Chamoli, Richard Joseph and Sushant Ale.
