DEHRADUN, 6 August: A free health check-up camp was organised by Himalayan Hospital Jolly Grant at the Rural Health Training Centre in Gaurimafi, Raiwala. Around 200 patients received consultations at the health check-up camp.

The health check-up camp was organised by the Community Medicine Department of the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS), established at Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) in Gaurimafi. The camp provided health consultations to around 200 patients by Dr Shekhar Kushwaha from the General Medicine Department, Dr Mandeep from the Paediatrics Department, Dr Snehi from the Ophthalmology Department, Dr Tejasvi from the General Surgery Department, Dr Vandana Rajput from the Gynaecology Department, Dr Anuj from the Dermatology Department, Dr Antara Pant from the ENT Department, and Dr Nidhi from the Dental Surgery Department. Various tests, including for sugar, BP, and haemoglobin, were conducted for free, along with patient registrations.

A notable aspect of the camp was that MBBS students brought villagers to the health camp under the Family Adoption Programme. Dr Ashok Kumar Srivastava, Dr Abhay Srivastava, Dr Neha Sharma, Dr Chirag Joshi, Dr Avni Gupta, and Dr Vaibhav Rana significantly contributed to the camp’s operation.
