Graphic Era student awarded Rs 1 lakh for innovative app

DEHRADUN, 12 Oct: Graphic Era organised a two day IEEE international conference on Innovative Sustainable Computational Technologies, that help in the sustainable development of human beings. On the second day of the conference, Jai Prakash Singh a student of BCA, Graphic Era Deemed to be University, developed a machine learning based ap which was awarded with rupees 1 lakh by Tech Guru, Kranthi Lammatha, from International Technological University from America. He addressed the conference online straight away from California.
The key note speaker of IEEE conference on Innovative Sustainable Computation Technologies and former scientist from Bhaba Atomic Research Centre,Mumbai, Dr. Gulshan Rehlan, said that innovative computational technology plays an important role for maintaining accuracy. He informed about the new research on emerging nano technology and motivated the present young researchers to bring new and innovative ideas and contribute to the society and the nation.
He also informed that with the help of machine learning technologies cyber crime can be prevented.
Specialist from IIT, Roorkee told the various challenges and problems faced by the researchers in the field of edge computing and energy efficiency and motivated them to solve problems.
On this occasion Vice Chancellor, Graphic Era deemed to be University, Dr. R K Sharma said that for sustainable development new and innovative computational technologies will be helpful in research. He also said that the researchers and students should do research together in order to bring new dimensions in the field of computer science.
Head of the Computer Science Department, Dr D P Singh said that this international conference will be helpful for connecting the researchers with the students which will also help the students to do Innovative research. In this seminar researchers from across the nation presented various research papers.
On this occasion Dr R C Joshi, Chancellor, Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Prof Dr Sanjay Jasola, Graphic Era Hill University, Dr Sachin Sharma, Dr D R Gangodkar, Dr Bhaskar Pant, Dr Santosh Kumar, Dr Ankur Dumka, Ramesh Rawat and others remained present.
