Dehradun, 25 Mar: Himanshu Devrani, a student of Graphic Era Hill University, has achieved the 25th rank in the GATE–2023 exam, creating a new record. Himanshu, who is pursuing a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science, has secured the rank in Computer Science and Information Technology subjects. Despite scoring 32.52 marks in the qualifying marks of the GATE exam, he has obtained 83.33 marks. Himanshu is a final year student and belongs to Kotdwar. His father is a serving officer in the army.
Abhishek Semwal, a student of Graphic Era Deemed University, has obtained an all India rank of 93 in GATE–2023. Abhishek, a resident of Tehri, is pursuing B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE). His father is a teacher.
Diksha Rathore, a student of BA Honors Psychology at the same university, has obtained a rank of 630 in her subject in GATE. Many students from both universities of the Graphic Era have qualified in the GATE exam.
It is worth noting that admissions to postgraduate courses in all major institutions of the country, including IITs and IISc Bangalore, are given on the basis of GATE scores. Research programs in various top government institutions and Navratna companies, including most public sector companies, also make appointments based on GATE scores.
