Dehradun, 25 Mar: In the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Director General, Medical Health and Family Welfare and Director Corporate Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibiulity (CSR) of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) signed an agreement for health screening in identified medical units of Garhwal division.
Speaking on this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Health ATMs will be set up during Chardham Yatra. With this facility, the devotees will get a lot of convenience. This would be a good step for the strengthening of medical facilities along the Char Dham Yatra route. The Chief Minister also expressed hope that Hewlett Packard Enterprise Health ATMs will also be installed at holy places like Mansarovar Yatra route, Baijnath Dham, Kainchi Dham, Purnagiri, Chitai Dham located in Manas Khand for the sake of convenience of the pilgrims. As per the agreement, Hewlett Packard Enterprise will provide these services in public interest. The Chief Minister said that the health facilities are being continuously improved so that the pilgrims do not face any health related problems during the Chardham Yatra.
Ankur Malhotra, Director, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, said that Health ATMs are being provided under the CSR policy of the company. More than 70 tests can be conducted with the help of ATMs and telemedicine services can also be provided. These services will be provided 24 hours by Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Health ATMs will be maintained by the engineers of Hewlett Packard Enterprise for the next 3 months after all the equipment is installed. 1 year CMC Services will also be provided by Hewlett Packard Enterprise in respect of the ATMs. Health ATMs are proposed to be inaugurated on 24 April by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
On this occasion, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Dr R Rajesh Kumar, Additional Secretary Amandeep Kaur, Director General Health Dr Vinita Shah, Director Health Dr Sunita Tamta, Director Medical Education Dr Ashutosh Sayana, Chief Medical Officer Dr Sanjay Jain, Dr Ajay Nagarkar, Joint Secretary Mahavir Singh, Representative of National Health Mission, Sushil Bhatla, Corporate Affairs Head, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Ishan Agarwal, Senior Program Manager, CSR and Vivek Agarwal were present.
