U’khand CM visits Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, 2 Nov: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the Gandhi Ashram here, today, and paid tribute to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. On this occasion, he also spun a charkha for some time and also recorded his experiences in the visitors’ book kept there.
It may be recalled that the Chief Minister was on an Ahmedabad tour with regard to the upcoming Global Investors’ Summit in Dehradun next month.
After reaching the Gandhi Ashram he toured the place for some time and also spun the Charkha. He spent some time in the Ashram. On this occasion, he stated that he salutes the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, who had given the message of truth, non-violence and harmony to the whole world.
The CM also observed that, since his childhood, he had been inspired by Gandhi and his life.
He further observed that the people have taken a pledge to make India the leading nation of the world. The Chief Minister said that the work done by Bapu in the freedom movement would always inspire the people.
