DEHRADUN, 5 Aug: BJP’s state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan today asserted that BJP is in command in the Kedarnath by-election, because BJP is a worker-based party and that it stands with the people in their happiness and sorrow. He claimed that people will definitely punish the Congress for the neglect of Kedarnath so far.
In response to questions asked by the media on the allegations of former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, Chauhan claimed that there is no doubt that the command of the by-election in Kedarnath will be in the hands of the common BJP workers. He said that under the guidance of senior leaders, workers have always been in charge till the booth level. He said that Congress definitely has this problem that it lacks both leaders and party workers.
Chauhan claimed that everyone is well aware of the injustice done by the Congress to Kedarnath. Congress, which is questioning the preparations for disaster management, needs to look at the disaster in Kedarnath this time to see how efficiently the disaster management has been ensured in a short time. The BJP Media In charge also claimed that despite a pre alert regarding disaster in Kedarnath in 2013, the Yatra was not stopped. In fact it was much after the disaster had struck and Kedarnath was destroyed that the then Congress Government had come to know of it, he claimed. Chauhan added that in sharp contrast to 2013, this time, within a few hours of the disaster in Kedar Valley, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami was present among the disaster affected at ground zero and an immediate rescue operation was launched. This time, the government started the rescue work on time and took all the necessary steps and evacuated thousands of people safely. CM Dhami himself is monitoring the rescue operations round the clock. It is the proactive action by the CM that thousands of lives were saved this time.
Chauhan claimed that the unique efforts made by PM Modi for the Kedarnath reconstruction work are historic. Today Kedarnath is far more accessible and safer. Kedarnath has emerged on the world stage today and under the guidance of PM Modi and under the leadership of CM Dhami, Kedarnath is today standing with all glory. The BJP leader claimed that as a result of the proactive actions, BJP will get the blessings from Baba Kedar. On the other hand, those who spent lakhs of rupees for the album production and also made millions of rupees in construction works in respect of Kedarnath are also hoping for blessings of Baba Kedar.
The BJP leader claimed that the former CM Harish Rawat’s pain is about his party’s possible candidate in Kedarnath, because he is also pointing towards such candidates whose actions are not in accordance with the dignity of that place. This can be the concern of a common Congressman that Congress does not have a suitable candidate in Kedarnath but the party still claims victory in upcoming Kedarnath byelection.
