Dehradun, 14 Jul: In a unique outreach initiative, the Indian Army has launched the Caravan Talkies campaign aimed at motivating young individuals from rural regions to consider a career in the armed forces.
The campaign features a specially designed mobile van equipped with an LED display screen, a public address system, and inspirational posters and banners. As part of its journey, Indian Army representatives will engage with students and aspirants, providing detailed information on recruitment procedures, eligibility criteria, training, and opportunities for career advancement within the Army.
To further ignite interest and enthusiasm, the campaign will also include quiz competitions, interactive games, and patriotic activities designed to connect with the youth in a dynamic and meaningful way.
After successfully covering various districts in Uttar Pradesh, the Caravan Talkies is set to enter Haridwar on 15 July with planned visits to several universities and educational institutions across the region including COER University – Belra; Om Ayurvedic Medical College – Gnorwala; Care College, Bahadrbad, Haridwar- Ruhalki Kishanpur; Haridwar University – Rahmatpur; Patanjali Ayurved College – Maidospur Majra; Shri Swami Bhumanand College of Nursing- Alipur Ibrahimpur.
The Uttarakhand leg of the campaign is being coordinated and overseen by the Director of the Army Recruitment Office, Lansdowne (UK).
