Haridwar, 14 Dec: In the National Art Competition, the students of Acharyakulam, a residential school, were honoured by the President. Arushi Singh secured the first position, receiving a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, a laptop, a gold medal, and a certificate. Shatakshi received the consolation prize of Rs 15,000 along with a tablet and a certificate. The competition, organised by the Union Ministry of Power, took place in New Delhi. Approximately 225 students were selected from a pool of 70 lakh students at the school level to participate in the national competition.
The event held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, saw the presence of Energy Minister RK Singh.
President Droupadi Murmu awarded the winning participants. Notably, all the students honoured by the President will also get an opportunity to visit ISRO.
Expressing joy over at this achievement, Swami Ramdev stated that the students of Acharyakulam have achieved unparalleled glory through their artistic skills.
In appreciation of this accomplishment, Acharyakulam’s Art Teacher, Sanjay Kumar Jayaswal, played a significant role, contributing tirelessly to make this achievement possible.
On this auspicious occasion, Acharyakulam’s Chairperson Dr Ritambhara Shastri, Principal Aradhana Kaul, Swami Asangdev, Swami Arjundev, and Vice-Principal Tapas Kumar Bera extended their congratulations and blessings to Art Teacher Sanjay Kumar Jayaswal and the students.
