Order to kill or capture leopard issued after two children killed

PAURI GARHWAL, 5 Feb: The wildlife authorities in Uttarakhand on Monday issued orders to capture or kill a leopard after it killed two children in Pauri district, forest officials said.
The orders to this effect were issued by Chief Wildlife Warden Samir Sinha after the leopard killed two children – one in Khirsu area and other in Srinagar area in the district.
In the first incident, Ankit (11) was taken away by the leopard when he was playing in a cowshed in village Gwar in Khirsu area on Saturday. In yet another incident, Ayan Ansari (4) was killed by the leopard in Srinagar area on Sunday. Both the children were later found dead, forest officials said.
