MUSSOORIE, 10 Dec: Mussoorie Police station In- charge Vidya Bhushan Singh Negi held a meeting with members of the general public, political and social workers and invited suggestions on making better conditions for traffic, as well as law and order in the town. He assured all that following the suggestions the police would make better arrangements. He further said that an action plan had been prepared for smooth traffic and also the vehicles parked by the roadside. Mussoorie Municipal Councilor Jasvir Kaur, social activist Avtar Kukreja, among others, said that the main problems were traffic jams at the main squares of Mussoorie and illegally sold alcohol at road side restaurants and dabhas. Speaking to media persons, Negi declared that the Mussoorie Winter Line Carnival would be held from 25 to 30 December, due to which the traffic system has to be streamlined as a large number of tourists are expected. There would be strict crack down on drunkenness and those creating a nuisance. Present on this occasion were SSI BL Bharti, Jagjit Kukreja, Satish Juneja, Sarita Kohli, Sarita Panwar, Jashoda Snarma, Aarti Agarwal, Sushil Agarwal, Rakesh Aggarwal, Sundar Singh Panwar and others.
