Dehradun, 8 Jun: Minister In-charge of Rudraprayag district, Saurabh Bahuguna conducted a ground inspection of the Kedarnath pedestrian trek route from Gaurikund. During this, he inspected the arrangements for passenger sheds, pavements, toilets and drinking water, as well as the arrangements made for the horses and mules and issued strict directions to improve the facilities for the horses and mules to ensure their safety and health.
Bahuguna also interacted with the travelling pilgrims, businessmen and mule owners and also sought their suggestions for making the journey more comfortable and about the difficulties being faced by them in the journey. During the inspection, Saurabh Bahuguna instructed the officers that all arrangements related to the yatra should be kept in good order.
During this, District Magistrate Mayur Dixit, Superintendent of Police Vishakha, District President BJP Mahavir Panwar, District Panchayat President Amardei Shah, SDM Ukhimath, Chief Veterinary Officer and other officers were present.
