Dehradun, 2 May: The Blood Donation Club of Sardar Bhagwan Singh University, in association with Blood Bank, SRHU Blood Bank (Jolly Grant), organised a Blood Donation Camp, today, in the varsity premises. The donors went through medical screening before donating blood.
The response to the camp was excellent. A total of 124 units of blood were collected.
The donors were given certificates of appreciation by the team of the SRHU Blood Bank, Jolly Grant (KC Joshi, Dr Swati and Dr Siddharth). NCC girls and boys also volunteered and participated in the donation.
Chancellor SP Singh, Secretary (GBSS) Dr Gauravdeep Singh, Vice Chancellor Prof AK Sharma, Registrar Krishan Rawat, COE Urmi Chaurasia, Dean (Academics) Prof FC Garg, Dean (Student Welfare) Prof Manish Arora, Dean (R&D) Prof GS Randhawa, Academic Advisor Dr Luv Kush, Manager (Admin) Zorawar Singh, Captain Nalini Merishi and Lt (Dr) Raghuveer, members of Blood Donation Club Prof (Dr) Vikas Anand, Dr Yogita Dobhal, Dr Neetu Pandey and Rajnish Singh were present on the occasion to encourage and motivate students and staff.
