St Jude’s School wins Overall Championship at The TonsFest 2026

Dehradun, 6 May: The Principal, Staff, Parents and Students of St Jude’s School have expressed their sincere appreciation to The TonsBridge School for creating, through Tonfest, an exceptional platform that celebrates talent, creativity and intellectual excellence, while providing the children of the Doon Valley with invaluable opportunities to learn, compete and grow.

St Jude’s School delivered an exceptional display of talent, intellect, and creativity at The Tons Fest 2026, a prestigious three-day Inter-School festival hosted by The TonsBridge School. Bringing together nearly 20 reputed Institutions from across the city such as St Patrick’s Academy, Summer Valley School, The OASIS, Graphic Era Global School, Mount Litera Zee School, Birla Open Minds, Army Public School, Birpur and Clement Town, the Fest provided a vibrant platform for young minds to showcase their abilities across diverse domains.

Day 1, centred on Knowledge, Creativity, and Technology, saw St Jude’s School students make a strong start. The Quiz Team—Arjit Solanki, Rohan Singh, and Ronak Bisht—secured the 2nd Runners-Up position in Ignited Minds– the Inter-School GK Quiz. In Best Shot Photography, Akshat Soni earned the 2nd Runners-Up position, while the Web Designing Team of Parth Wadhwa and Shauryan Jain impressed with their technical proficiency and creativity, also securing the 2nd Runners-Up position.

Day 2 belonged emphatically to St Jude’s School, as students excelled across artistic and cultural events, culminating in the school being awarded the prestigious Sur Sanchay Trophy, the Overall Trophy for the day. The Western Choir secured 2nd position with a stirring performance, while the Henna Competition saw the School achieve 1st position. In 3D Clay Modelling, students earned the 3rd position, further strengthening their standing.

Day 3 marked a grand and victorious culmination as St Jude’s School continued its winning streak with outstanding performances, securing top honours in multiple events. The School was declared Winner in Digital Logo Making and Futuristic Technology (2019 theme). In Nritya Sanchay (Dance), the SJS troupe of dancers were declared the Winners.  With a powerful presentation on the theme of Gender Equality, they conveyed a strong social message through expressive choreography and impactful storytelling.

With consistent excellence across all three days, St Jude’s School was crowned the Overall Winner of The TonsFest 2026, a testament to its commitment to holistic development and all-round excellence.

Beyond accolades, the Fest fostered confidence, resilience and a spirit of healthy competition among students. The school extended heartfelt gratitude to its dedicated mentors, including M Gardner, V Shahi, M Bhardwaj, S Tuli, and L Bhatia, S Kukreja, V Chandel, S Arora, P Shahi, R Singh, W Lakra and P Chawla, whose guidance and encouragement were instrumental in this success.
