Dehradun, 15 Jul: Forty students of B Tech (Biotechnology, Biochemistry & Microbiology) from various Universities and Colleges like IILM Academy of Higher Learning, College of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida, Integral University, Lucknow, Graphic Era University, Dehradun, Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut, Hamdard University New Delhi, Amity University, Lucknow Campus, Vivek College of Pharmacy, Bijnor, Sardar Bhagwan Singh PG Institute of Biomedical Sciences & Research, Dehradun, Amity University, Jaipur Campus, have received training at The Himalaya Drug Company, here. The Chief Guest at the valedictory, Uttarakhand CII Chairman Mukesh Goel and SC Nautiyal, Director, Industries, distributed the completion certificates. Mukesh Goel congratulated the students on having received such hands-on training. Guest of Honour SC Nautiyal urged the students to concentrate on their subjects and do their best. Company President Dr S Farooq told them that they were fortunate that they had chosen a stream with great potential. Biotechnology and Micro Biology was broadly the area of Biology involving living systems and organisms to develop products. He asked them to concentrate on innovation and invention. Dr Zafar Mehmood and AK Dixit conducted the programme and Dr Suman Lata proposed the vote of thanks.
