Dehradun, 23 Jul: A workshop was organised at Him Jyoti School by a team of the Income Tax Department in the context of the Income Tax Day, which falls on 24 July.
The team informed the students about the policy of Tax Collection. It also told the students about how public money collected through taxes is used for the development of infrastructure, hospitals, schools, defence, railways and providing other public utility facilities to the citizens of the country. It proved a very informative session.
