DEHRDUN, 10 Jan: The Under-12 Kasiga Chairman Champions Trophy Tournament 2019 began here, today, at the Oval Ground of Kasiga School. The Chief Guest on this occasion was Mayor Sunil Uniyal ‘Gama’. Chairman of Kasiga School Ramesh Batta was felicitated by the Chief Guest on the occasion.
In his address to the young players, Gama said that by organising cricket and various other sports at school level, it enabled students to enhance their sports skills and creativity.
The inaugural match began with the release of coloured balloons in the air by the guests. It was played between Team Yellow Eleven and Team Red Eleven. Team Red Eleven won by 2 wickets.
Others present at the event were Javed Butt, Ashutosh Mamgain, Ashok Panwar, Anshul Arora, Ashwani Sukhija and Anil Anand.
