New Tehri, 13 May: A Tempo Traveller bus full of passengers overturned today on Kaudiyala Road. The bus was carrying 27 passengers, most of whom belonged to Gujarat and one driver. A SDRF team reached the spot and rescued the passengers. The SDRF team was informed by the Chowki in Byasi in district Tehri that a bus had overturned.
New Tehri, 13 May: A Tempo Traveller bus full of passengers overturned today on Kaudiyala Road. The bus was carrying 27 passengers, most of whom belonged to Gujarat and one driver. A SDRF team reached the spot and rescued the passengers. The SDRF team was informed by the Chowki in Byasi in district Tehri that a bus had overturned.
On reaching the spot, the SDRF team found that a bus had met with an accident and had overturned on the way. The bus was coming towards Rishikesh, carrying 28 persons including the driver. All the passengers have suffered minor injuries, but one is said to be seriously injured. First aid was given to the injured by the SDRF team and after first aid all have been sent to AIIMS Hospital for advance treatment through 108 and other vehicles.
The bus is stated to be returning from Sonprayag and the passengers were returning to Rishikesh from Kedarnath. Near Kaudiyala, the bus suddenly lost control and overturned as a result. All the passengers in the bus are residents of Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
