Tehri, 5 Apr: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today held a road show and addressed a rally in Thatyur in Tehri Lok Sabha constituency, where he campaigned for BJP candidate Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah. In his address, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami took a dig at the opposition parties and said that all the corrupt people are on one side in this election, while those against corruption are on BJP’s side. Dhami asserted that the Opposition parties have come together to oppose the action being taken against the corrupt under Modi Government. The Opposition today stands for corruption, nepotism, dynastic politics and appeasement politics. On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is saying that he will take action against the corrupt people. PM Modi has taken major steps to make India strong, prosperous and strong.
CM Dhami further said that this is an election to make India a fully developed country. This is the election to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of the country for the third straight time. He has worked hard to take the country forward because he considers the country as his family. PM Modi has not taken any leave for the last ten years. He started PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, provided free food and Covid vaccines to the people during the pandemic. Dhami reminded that the people of Uttarakhand had not only created history in the 2022 assembly elections, but had also broken a myth that no party is able to retain power in the elections in the state. Earlier, the government used to change after every election. Even in the 2022 assembly elections, some political experts had claimed that this time also the government will change, but the people of the state proved them wrong by creating history. At the same time, the BJP government has fulfilled all the resolutions taken in the year 2022.
In the rally, Dhami sought support for BJP candidate Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah from Tehri Lok Sabha constituency. He also asserted that the PM has sent his greetings to all the people of the state from Rudrapur. He said that the Modi needs to be made the Prime Minister of the country again for the sake of development and progress. There is excitement among the public about the upcoming elections. The people of the state are eager to make Modi the Prime Minister again, and want to celebrate the voting day as a festival. He said that definitely Dhanaulti assembly will have the highest percentage of votes in Tehri Lok Sabha. Every moment of the Prime Minister is dedicated to the countrymen. CAA has been implemented in the country under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Article 370 of Kashmir has been abrogated. The evil practice like triple talaq has ended. Today, the dream of building a grand temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya has come true.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of PM Modi, after the Corona period, free ration is being given in the entire country. Also, every house has been connected to tap and water. In Uttarakhand, every house of more than 12 lakh families has been connected with tap and water. More than 1 lakh houses have been constructed in the state under the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana. To eliminate the problems faced in hospitals, work has been done to provide free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh under Ayushman Bharat Scheme to all the residents. The work of constructing 12 crore toilets has been done in the country. He said that the country was ruled by one party for 60 years. The work that was not done in 60 years has been done in the last 10 years under the leadership of the Prime Minister. The Chief Minister said that before 2014, the number of medical colleges in the country was 387, which has increased to 692. Before 2014, there were only 6 AIIMS, whose number has increased to 24. Till 2014, there were 723 universities, which has increased to 1472. Till 2014, there were 16 IIT institutes, which has increased to 23. Till 2014, there were 13 IIMs, which have increased to 20. India’s power generation capacity in 2014 was 2.34 lakh MW, which has increased to 4.17 lakh MW. Till 2014, the reach of National Highways in the country was 91,287 km, which has increased to more than 1.44 lakh km. Till 2014, the number of airports was 74, which has increased to 148. Till 2014, only 21,614 km of railway routes in the country were connected to electric lines, which has increased to 58,812 km.
The Chief Minister said that on one hand there are corrupt parties and their corrupt alliances and on the other hand there is the Prime Minister who wants to end corruption.
