DEHRADUN, 24 Oct: At a three-day Yoga programme held in the MDDA Complex near Clock Tower, Chief Guest Dr S Farooq appreciated the efforts made by Acharya Bipin Joshi to organise the camp for students of Ayurvedic Colleges of Dehradun on his 48th birthday. The programme started with performance of various yoga exercises done by the students, both, girls and boys. The main attraction was the performance by 65 year old Mahayogi Swami Jeetanand of Gwalior, who showed his skill in various Aasans. Dr S Farooq, who was the Chief Guest, addressed the students and said that, if they wanted to live healthy for 100 years, they ought to adopt Yoga as a general exercise which would increase their concentration and make them good citizens. He also awarded prizes to the students in the presence of Seema Dora, yoga experts and other judges.
