DEHRADUN, 2 Feb: St Joseph’s Academy (SJA) celebrated its 211th Foundation Day on 2nd February, with a lot of zeal and vigour. A spellbinding programme was put up by the Middle School where all the participants performed to the best of their ability. To begin with, Akshara Gupta led everyone into prayer which was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Bro. Jerome, Bro. Babu Varghese (the Principal), Bro. Binoi (the Vice-Principal) and Bro. Sebastian .
The school choir regaled everyone by singing ,”Breast Plate of St. Patrick” and “The Cloud’s Veil .”
A skit was presented on the life history of Bishop Daniel Delany which threw light on how he resurrected Ireland .
Thereafter, the Principal, Bro. Babu Varghese, delivered the vote of thanks and reminded the Josephites about the sacrifices made by Bro. Daniel Delany .
The comperes of the event were Khyati Sahrawat, Ananya Ghildiyal, Meher Sethi, Aditya Semwal, Ananya Kukreja, and Ashpreet.
