DEHRADUN, 25 Dec: An Art Exhibition was inaugurated on the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee of Dr Dwijen Sen Memorial Kala Kendra in Dehradun on Monday. The inaugural function was presided over by former VC of Kumaon Varsity, Prof Dr BK Joshi; retired IAS officers Vibha Puri Das & Sanjeev Chopra; environmentalist Vandana Shiva and MLA, Cantt, Savita Kapoor.
Besides, art lovers, students of Kala Kendra, were present in large number.
Director of the Kala Kendra, Col VK Dougall was also present on the occasion. Around 70 artists have displayed their work at the exhibition.
It may be recalled that Kala Kendra has been teaching painting and sculpture art to several generations of Doon residents.
The exhibition will be open for all till 30th December 2023 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. at 1, Patel Road, near Buddha Chowk.
