Badrinath (Chamoli), 1 Jun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Badrinath today and conducted an on ground inspection of the facilities and Yatra arrangements for the devotees. He also offered prayers to Lord Badrinath on this occasion. Later, the Chief Minister directed the departments involved in Char Dham Yatra management to keep the travel arrangements in order keeping in mind the convenience, safety and ease of the devotees in Badrinath Dham. He added that the departments concerned must ensure that the journey continues in a smooth and systematic manner and the devotees can have easy darshan in Badrinath Dham. During the inspection, the Chief Minister also interacted with the devotees who had come from different parts of the country and sought feedback from them about the Yatra arrangements.
Dhami also sought detailed information about the facilities like token counter, queue management, control room, medical and health etc set up for the convenience of the devotees and directed the officials to work in mutual coordination with each other. The CM claimed that the state government is continuously working to ensure smooth, safe and convenient Char Dham Yatra for the devotees. The Yatra has been conducted as per the capacity of the Dhams and now the journey is completely organised. Devotees are getting opportunities to have darshan easily. The journey is going on smoothly. On the proposal of local stakeholders to increase the number of pilgrims to be allowed darshan at Badrinath Dham, the CM said that the ground situation will soon be assessed and the number of pilgrims will be increased according to the capacity of the Dham. The Chief Minister said that there are adequate number of hotels and accommodation capacity in Badrinath. It is the priority of the government that people are able to complete their Yatra in a convenient and safe manner. During his stay at the Dham, the Chief Minister also prayed for the prosperity of the country and the state by visiting and worshipping Badri Vishal.
Temple Committee Vice President Kishore Panwar welcomed the Chief Minister by offering him Badri Prasad. Superintendent of Police Sarvesh Panwar, SDM CS Vashisht, CO Pramod Shah, BKTC Vice President Kishore Panwar, EO Sunil Purohit, etc., were present on this occasion.
