Dehradun, 11 Aug: The OASIS Junior Cup 2026 concluded on a high note at The OASIS, Dehradun, after 10 days of an exciting inter-school football tournament. Held from 1 to 10 August, the tournament brought together young footballers from several leading schools across the region.
The tournament featured three categories — Under-15 Boys, Open Girls and Mixed Team. In the Open Girls’ final, Him Jyoti School defeated The TonsBridge School in the finals, 4–0, and claimed the championship. In the Under-15 Boys’ final, GD Goenka Public School edged past DIS City Campus 2–1 in a closely contested final. Wynberg Allen School emerged champions in the Mixed Team category, defeating St Kabeer Academy, 2–0.
Several players were also recognised for their outstanding performances. Deven Basin of GD Goenka Public School was named the Best Goalkeeper in the Under-15 Boys category, while Advait Rana of DIS City Campus won the Player of the Tournament award. Shubh of GD Goenka Public School was adjudged Best Scorer. In the Open Girls category, Himani Sati of Him Jyoti School was named the Best Goalkeeper, Daksha of The TonsBridge School received the Player of the Tournament award, and Arpita of Him Jyoti School was declared the Best Scorer.
