DEHRADUN, 4 Dec: Olympus High School organised a Hindi Debate Competition in its premises, here, today. The students of classes 4 & 5 participated. The judges for the programme were Poonam Arora and Hemant Dabral. The winners of the competition were Mansawi Garg and Akanksha Kumari of class 4 and Aditya Singh and Ananya Thareja of class 5. The topic for class 5 students was, ‘Should a school have a DG Board or not?’, while the topic for class 4 was, ‘Whether to have a boarding school or not?’. The competition concluded with a motivating speech by Principal Anuradha Pundeer Malla. She explained the importance of debates to the children and encouraged them to take part. Also present on the occasion were Manju Narang, Shashi Bala, Seema Dora and Shaileja Hazarika.
