Almora, 28 Apr: Under the direction of Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority Nainital and the guidance of Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Almora, Shrikant Pandey, as per the orders of Shashi Sharma, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, a two-day awareness campaign has been launched in the district under the ‘Safe Medicine: Safe Life Campaign’. Information will be given about the side effects of medicines after the expiry date, etc. The Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Almora, will conduct a joint surprise inspection of the medical stores of the district along with the drug inspector and the team of the health department.
The Secretary also stated that on 10 May, a National Lok Adalat is going to be organised in all the courts of the district in which the cases will be settled on the basis of compromise.
