Dehradun, 23 Oct: Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan released the book, ‘Prerna Srot’ in the State Assembly Hall, today, emphasising the need to strengthen the inclination towards study and writing in society.
She highlighted Dr Ravindra Kumar Saini’s poetry collection, ‘Prerna Srot’, which features poems about the lives of 111 individuals. These figures have made their mark in various fields, and the author has drawn inspiration from their lives.
Khanduri expressed concern over the declining trend of self-study and reading among the current generation, stating that reliance on Google knowledge is not conducive for a developed society. She noted that literature can raise social awareness and produce healthy human resources, and that good books have the potential to transform society.
The Speaker thanked Dr Ravindra Saini and all the writers and literary figures present at the event.
