PAURI, 8 Jan: Tourism and PWD Minister and Chaubattakhal MLA Satpal Maharaj today announced several schemes worth Rs 93 crores for the development in his constituency. Maharaj on Saturday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several schemes worth Rs 93.10 crores related to supply of drinking water, road projects as well as irrigation projects in his assembly area. Maharaj has laid the virtual foundation stone of 11 roads worth Rs 285.72 lakh along with four big drinking water schemes, costing Rs 8095.78 lakhs, of three development blocks, besides inaugurating irrigation schemes worth 8381.5 lakhs for his constituency. At the same time, Maharaj also launched Lalitpur Rasiya Mahadev (GVV) pumping drinking water scheme to be constructed with an amount of Rs 10.88 crores of Bironkhal block, Rs 2284.84 lakh Vedikhal (GOV) pumping drinking water scheme worth 22 crore of development block Jahrikhal. Gujarkhand Village Group Pumping Drinking Water Scheme, Bhumiya Danda Kingodidhar Pumping Drinking Water Scheme, to be built at a cost of Rs 25 crores. In his assembly constituency, under the NABARD scheme, a lift irrigation scheme of 176.76 lakhs in Sisai and Kanda Talla village under Bironkhal, a lift construction scheme of 110.58 lakhs based on Ratkot-Bangar sprinkler system, 296.82 based on sprinkler system in village Jiwai and Sukhai were also announced and he also inaugurated the Simar to Gwad Talla motor road constructed at a cost of Rs.241.73 lakh under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojna, along with a lift construction scheme. On this occasion, Satpal Maharaj expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami for this and said that through these schemes there would be over all development of the entire area. He said that as a result of the blessings of the respected people of the area and the cooperation of the Chief Minister, he was constantly trying to bring all kinds of development works to the ground in Chaubattakhal assembly constituency.
