Dehradun, 13 Jul: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today formally inaugurated the newly established Ayurved Utkarsh Kendra at the Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Kandoli, by cutting the ceremonial ribbon. On the occasion, he toured the facility and reviewed the healthcare services and arrangements available at the centre. He also inaugurated a free medical camp organised at the community hall.
Congratulating and extending his best wishes to the local residents, the Cabinet Minister said that Ayurveda is India’s ancient system of medicine, which has guided people toward healthy living for centuries. He stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ayurveda and India’s traditional systems of medicine have gained global recognition. He added that the Uttarakhand Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, is continuously working to strengthen AYUSH services across the state.
He said that the establishment of the Ayurved Utkarsh Kendra will provide better healthcare facilities to the people of the region by ensuring access to quality Ayurvedic treatment, consultation, and medicines at the local level. Expressing confidence, he said that the centre would play an important role in promoting public health and further strengthen people’s trust in Ayurveda.
During the programme, the Minister urged doctors and healthcare personnel to provide dedicated and compassionate services to patients, stating that public service is the highest form of service and that ensuring quality healthcare for every citizen remains the government’s top priority.
The programme was attended by Mandal President Pradeep Rawat, Niranjan Dobhal, Arvind Dobhal, Ayurvedic and Unani Officer Savita Kotiyal, Himani Dangwal, departmental officials, doctors, public representatives, and a large number of local residents.
