Lohaghat, 14 Jul: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, currently on a tour to Champawat, reached the Advaita Ashram, Mayawati, at Lohaghat today and sought blessings of the seers. During his visit to the Ashram, he also inspected the meditation centre and the museum based on the life of Swami Vivekananda.
Dhami said that the ashram situated in Lohaghat is a delightful place. It had been inhabited by virtuous, spiritually advanced persons. It was a matter of good fortune for him to be visiting this place.
It may be recalled that this ashram was established by Swami Vivekananda and still maintains the serenity and divinity of the old times. It is known to be a centre of peace and meditation.
Dhami said that the India of the dreams of Swami Vivekananda is being given shape now by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Modi is creating a New India with a well thought out vision entailing rapid progress of the country. Under Modi, the work on the master plan for grand Kedarnath and Badrinath Dhams is also moving ahead rapidly.
