Dehradun, 1 Sep: Yet another arrest has been made in the course of investigation of the paper leak case of the UKSSSC. The accused arrested today is Vinod Joshi, who is a constable in Uttarakhand Police and a resident of Sitarganj in Udham Singh Nagar district. Earlier, his brother, Manoj Joshi, had also been arrested by the STF investigating the case.
Vinod Joshi is presently posted as a police constable in Udham Singh Nagar. The arrest has been made on the basis of the statements recorded of other accused and other evidence gathered by the STF, so far.
Manoj Joshi, brother of the accused, who was posted as a Junior Assistant with the government, had been arrested earlier in the same case and is presently in judicial custody.
It is learnt that the accused, Vinod Joshi, his bother Manoj Joshi, and other accused had a role in leaking the question paper for VDO recruitment and they had even got the paper solved, which had been sold to many candidates by them. This had happened in a private house in Kundeshwari the night before the examination. The candidates had also been transported by the accused in their vehicles.
Vinod Joshi’s arrest is the 31st made by the STF in the UKSSSC paper leak scam.
