People’s complaints should be referred to dept concerned at earliest: Dhami

CM conducts surprise inspection of ITDA

Dehradun, 31 Jan: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted a surprise inspection of the Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA) at Sahastradhara Road, here, today.  During the inspection, the Chief Minister also took stock of the ‘CM Help Line 1905’ and the Integrated Command and Control Centre.

During his stay at the ITDA, the Chief Minister also spoke to one of the complainants, Lal Singh, a resident of Pachyona village of Almora district, from the control room of CM Helpline and sought details about his problem. He then instructed the District Magistrate, Almora, to immediately take cognisance of the complaint and resolve it. Lal Singh had complained on the helpline that his ration card had been cancelled by the Food and Civil Supplies Department without any prior notice, due to which his family is not being given ration by the local dealer. While talking to Lal Singh, the Chief Minister assured him that his problem would be resolved soon.

The Chief Minister also inspected the traffic arrangements from the Integrated Command and Control Centre at ITDA. He instructed all the officers engaged in traffic management to adopt a proactive approach. Action should also be taken as per rules against those who violate the rules.

It may be recalled that the CM conducts a detailed review of CM Helpline 1905 every month. During the inspection, the Chief Minister also took stock of various activities of ITDA.

On this occasion, Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram and Vice Chairman of MDDA, Banshidhar Tiwari, were also present.
