Refresher courses will be run for board exam candidates: Dr DS Rawat

Dehradun, 31 Jan: A refresher course will be conducted for class 10th and 12th board candidates in the state. Instructions have been given to departmental officers in this regard. From 1 to 26 February, online classes will be run in about 500 government schools across the state through Vidya Samiksha Centre and Virtual Studio.

Board examinees will be prepared for various subjects, so that they do not face any kind of problem in the examinations and the percentage of results can also be qualitatively improved.

Education Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat said students will be practice on question papers of the last five years. Students in schools having the facility of virtual classes will be made to prepare for important subjects online. Every day, teachers will provide information and practice on important subjects to the students.

Apart from this, under the ‘Parakh Abhyas’ programme run under the Vidya Samiksha Kendra, the board examinees will be made to practice the past question papers and revise the entire syllabus, so that the students can perform better in the upcoming board exams. Students of nearby schools will also be included in the programme in the nearest schools having virtual classes. Necessary instructions have been issued to the Chief Education Officers and Block Education Officers of the districts.

The department has issued a practice link  for the test practice. Board candidates and their parents can download the ‘Swift Chat’ application on their mobile and register themselves and avail the benefits of board exam preparations. The minister said that the School Education Department has released the examination schedule for this year’s board examinations, under which the board examinations will be conducted from 27 February while the results of the board examinations will be declared by 30 April.
