DEHRADUN, 13 Jan: The Kabaddi competition of the ongoing Khel Mahakumbh organised by the ‘Yuva Kalyan evam Prantiya Rakshak Dal’, here, continued at the Mini Stadium in Nanurkheda, today.
The quarter-finals took place in the Under-17 Boys’ Category. The first match was between Tehri and Haridwar. Tehri won 30-28. In the girls’ category, Haridwar beat Udham Singh Nagar, 41-40. In the second quarter-final, Dehradun beat Pauri, 29-27.
In the U-14 boys’ category, the first quarter-final was between Chamoli and Rudraprayag. Chamoli won 76-50.
In the first quarter-final of the U-19 boys’ category, Pauri beat Uttarkashi, 42-23. In the second match, Haridwar got the better of Tehri, 39-16. In the girls’ category, Dehradun beat Tehri, 47-16.
Present on the occasion were Director Pratap Singh Shah, Joint Director RC Dimri and others.
