Rozgar Mela: 51,000 appointment letters distributed

DEHRADUN, 26 Apr: The 15th tranche of the Rozgar Mela was organized by the Department of Revenue, CBIC at the Survey of India auditorium here on Saturday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the event via video conferencing, distributing appointment letters to over 51,000 selected candidates across 47 locations nationwide.
In his address, the Prime Minister encouraged the youth to utilise the Karmayogi portal for skill development, urging them to dedicate their services to public welfare. He also introduced the slogan “Nagarik Devo Bhava,” emphasising the importance of citizen-centric service.
At the Dehradun event, Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Ajay Tamta, handed over appointment letters to 162 candidates selected from 13 departments, including CBIC, Forest Survey of India, Bank of Baroda, EPFO, AIIMS, PCDA, FCI, and Railways. Ajay Tamta congratulated the appointees and urged them to serve the nation with integrity and dedication.
The occasion was graced by Chief Commissioner of CGST Meerut Zone, Sanjay Mangal, Principal Commissioner of CGST Dehradun, Shubh Chintan, and Commissioner (CGST Appeals), Anil Chaudhary, along with other departmental officers. Local MLAs of Dehradun, Khajan Das and Savita Kapoor, were also present, adding to the relevance of the event.
