School children give message on saving environment

Dehradun, 30 Apr: Students of Graphic Era Global School gave a message of environment conservation in a unique manner.
These children have been collecting natural objects over the past one month and put up an exhibition with essay writing, painting and poetry to give out a message to protect the environment.
Under this initiative of ‘Go Green through Environment Month’, these students have been going on nature walks for the past month. During these walks, the students collected various natural objects such as interesting pebbles and dried flowers and leaves. These objects were exhibited, which also helped the students to learn about their names and use so that they could get closer to nature.
Vriksh Mitra Dr Trilok Chandra Soni was the Chief Guest at the event. He talked about the concept of continuous nature sustainablity. Avinash, COO, of a Waste Management NGO talked about Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and gave tips on daily ways to Reuse waste.
Graphic Era Global School Principal Shalini Rawat, along with teachers and students, was present on the occasion.
