Dehradun, 22 Jul: A large number of political and social workers formally joined BJP at an event held at the party’s State Headquarters here today. State General Secretary Kundan Parihar extended a warm welcome to all the new members on behalf of the party. He ceremonially inducted them into the organisation by presenting the traditional scarf and garland, thereby conferring primary membership of the BJP.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Parihar elaborated on the principles and ideology of the party, emphasising the sentiment of ‘Nation First’ and the organisation’s commitment to its foundational values. He remarked that the BJP is not merely a political outfit but a thought and a movement. He said the arrival of the new members would further strengthen the party at the grassroots and infuse fresh energy into its developmental work.
Among those who joined the BJP were Rajiv Thukral, Puneet Sethi, Mayank Mehta, Nitin Sethi, Paras Chhabra, Mohit Arora, Vivek Gambhir, Manas Arora, Sarvanjit Singh, Gurudatt Singh, Harshdeep Singh and Lalit Kumar.
After being inducted into the BJP, the new members expressed gratitude to the party leadership and resolved to strengthen the organisation while taking its policies and vision to the people at large.
