Dehradun, 15 Apr: President, Graphic Era Group, Prof (Dr) Kamal Ghanshala said that no one could stop the progress of a person who enjoyed doing his/her work. Prof Ghanshala was addressing an Achievers’ Meet, here, today.
Dr Ghanshala said that, in order to succeed, it was necessary that one chose the field of one’s interest. Such people enjoyed doing their work and always succeeded in life. Only a degree was no guarantee of success. It required interest in work to be successful. Calling his decision to become an entrepreneur the best of his life, Dr Ghanshala added that he enjoyed every moment of his work.
Mentioning Graphic Era’s getting the 104th position in the recently released NIRF ranking of institutes across the country, Dr Ghanshala said that Graphic Era had left NIT Jalandhar, Jamshedpur and Patna far behind in this ranking. In engineering, Graphic Era had stood first in Uttarakhand after IIT-Roorkee and had left Pantnagar’s prestigious GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology and Dehradun’s Petroleum University far behind. He added that work on the medical college site was being carried out on a war footing and a hospital was expected to start there from January, next year. He said further that Graphic Era got its motivation from the success of its students and alumni.
The Achievers’ Meet began with the screening of a short film based on Dr Ghanshala. Former students of Graphic Era, working in different countries of the world including America and Canada, have given the credit of their success to Dr Kamal Ghanshala in this film. Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and Minister of State for Higher Education Dr Dhan Singh Rawat had congratulated Dr Kamal Ghanshala for helping thousands of youth from the state and the country to realise their dreams.
Toppers, achievers from Graphic Era deemed and Graphic Era Hill and their parents asked questions and gave suggestion during the achievers’ meet. Chief Patron, Graphic Era, RC Ghanshala gave success mantras to the audience. Meanwhile, on the second day of the Alumni Meet today, former students of Graphic Era, working in various prominent companies across the world shared their experiences and also gave suggestions.
