New Delhi, 18 Jul: The Governor of Uttarakhand, Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd), paid a courtesy call on the Governor of Mizoram, General (Dr) Vijay Kumar Singh (Retd), at Mizoram House here on Friday.
During the meeting, both Governors held discussions on strengthening academic cooperation between the universities of Uttarakhand and Mizoram, promoting joint research projects, and encouraging innovation and the exchange of best academic practices.
They expressed confidence that enhanced collaboration between the higher educational institutions of both states would lead to significant progress in academic excellence and research.
